 As Masterpiece Graphix continues to strive
towards more eco-friendly practices, it's customers are
beginning to realize the benefits of these unique offerings.
Recent
articles in industry magazines Label & Narrow Web and
Labels & Labeling both featured articles on our
Massachusetts customer, Dion Label. Chronicling Dion's
admirable push towards 'greener' business practices, both
articles shed light on Masterpiece
Graphix's wind power program, which allows us to produce
100% of our products using renewable wind energy. Currently,
MGX is the only topcoating company using this energy
source to create it's finished product.
Although Dion's facility and Masterpiece Graphix,
located in St. Louis, are not close to one another, they feel
that our renewable energy used to produce their materials
offsets the travel time involved for shipping. As Dion states
in Label & Labeling's February/March issue,
"Masterpiece Graphix is the best out there for digital
coating. We've tried other vendors, but are most impressed by
the Masterpiece work. Their choice to use renewable energy
helps us feel more comfortable sourcing material from their
location."
And Dion's comfort is well justified; recent findings
published by MGX wind energy supplier, Ameren,  states that the average program subscriber
reduces yearly carbon dioxide emissions by more than 19,500
pounds- the equivalent to not driving a car for 2 years. By
doing our part, we hope that in turn we can not only provide a
better product for our customers, but also inspire them and
others in our field to do their environmental part as
well.

New Easy Peel Material
 For easy identification on
surfaces such as automobiles, electronics, and appliances,
Masterpiece Graphix is now offering a digitally-treated
material guaranteed to peel away easily and cleanly, even
after as much as six months of outdoor exposure. This
polyolefin film meets and exceeds most automotive OEM paint
protection specifications, making it the ideal material for
tracking painted metal products. When MGX's digital topcoat is
applied, this material becomes print-ready for use on your
digital press, providing you with a product that allows for
easy identification labeling purposes.
